Irish Karaoke Added On: January 19th, 2008 Posted By: Sue About two years ago, me and a few girl friends went to Shamrock pub in Orange County, CA.  There was a band playing that night, and we were rocking it out in front of the stage.  The lead singer asked me if I wanted to jump on stage and help cover a few tones.  I can't sing, but I decided to go for it anyway.  After the band finished, the singer approached me and asked me I was interested in grabbing a drink with him.  How could I say No :)  I did, and that one drink led to a first date, and the first date to a second, and so forth and so on.  After dating for a year, we just got engaged.  Guess where???  You got it...outside the Shamrock.  I would never have guessed I would meet my future husband in a bar...but I guess Irish pubs don't count, right! :)
