About two years ago, me and a few girl friends went to Shamrock pub in Orange County, CA. There was a band playing that night, and we were rocking it out in front of the stage. The lead singer asked me if I wanted to jump on stage and help cover a few tones. I can't sing, but I decided to go for it anyway. After the band finished, the singer approached me and asked me I was interested in grabbing a drink with him. How could I say No :) I did, and that one drink led to a first date, and the first date to a second, and so forth and so on. After dating for a year, we just got engaged. Guess where??? You got it...outside the Shamrock. I would never have guessed I would meet my future husband in a bar...but I guess Irish pubs don't count, right! :)
Day in the Park

It's not a long story, but my parents also meet during the last weeks of college. Both of them were walking in the park. My mom with her dog, and my dad by himself. My mom's dog got off its leash and took off running. The dog ended up running right into my dad, knocking him over, and injuring his leg. My mom felt so bad that she agreed to a date with my injured dad. I guess it was love at first "bite."
