The 2014 New Haven Saint Patrick's Day Parade starts at Chapel Street and Sherman Avenue and ends at Grove and Orange Streets and starts at 1:30 PM.
Since the mid-1950ís the St. Patrickís Day Parade of Greater New Haven has become one of New Englandís premier Irish events. It is the largest, single-day spectator event in the State of Connecticut. As the 6th oldest parade in the nation, its fame was recognized by the Library of Congress in 1999. This keepsake of New Havenís Irish community became a national keepsake when the Library of Congress selected the Greater New Haven St. Patrickís Day Parade as an outstanding example of American folk life. Thank you to all who participate, attend and support the Greater New Haven St. Patrickís Day Parade. An estimated 325,000 spectators lined the streets of the Elm City in 2012. We are finalizing the 2014 parade which will take place on Sunday, March 16th 2014.
