The Highlands Business Partnership will paint the town green on Saturday, March, 24, 2012 at 2:00 PM, when nearly 100 marching units, including bagpipers, marching bands and floats, line up to march in the Ninth Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Celebration. The parade will begin at Huddy Park,with hundreds scheduled to march along a one-mile stretch of Bay Avenue. Ms. Helen Soyka will lead the parade as the 2012 Grand Marshal. Helen has been a business owner in the borough for nearly fifty years. Her business is currently known as the Andy Shore Bar and is located on Miller and Bay Avenues. Helen will be joined with her daughter Mary Ann who will serve as the Deputy Grand Marshal.
