The 28th Ocean County Saint Patrick’s Day Parade kicks off at Noon on Saturday March 12, 2012 in beautiful Seaside Heights, New Jersey. With a reputation as “The Greenest Parade in All of New Jersey” the parade set record numbers last year exceeding 75,000 spectators of all ages along the Boulevard just one block from the Atlantic Ocean. An annual fun family event the Parade marks the unofficial start of the Tourist season in Ocean County. Restaurants and Pubs are open early for breakfast and lunch, and weather permitting many of the Boardwalk attractions are open as well. People are encouraged to arrive early this year as construction on the inbound lanes on the Route 37 bridge will close one lane in that direction.
