Salt Lake City Utah St. Patrick's Day Parade, Saturday, March 17, 10 a.m. St. Patrick, Bless the American Worker Is the theme for this year’s observance of the annual festivities celebrating the Feast of St. Patrick, Ireland’s patron saint. This year, the parade and Siamsa are on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17. The Parade begins at 10 a.m., and the route will be the same as last year, through the Gateway Center. All families, particularly those with Irish surnames, are asked to please submit an entry form. The Parade theme honors the American working men and women, who by their labor have built this great nation. They came from a variety of backgrounds: Irish, Italian, Greek, German, Chinese, Hispanic, and many more. They shared a common driving desire to succeed, and resolved their differences by their love of America.
