The theme for this year's St Patrick's Day parade is: "Celebrating 30 Years of Community Unity with Special Thanks to our Veterans and Military" Over the past 29 years, we have honored educators, athletes, service animals, volunteers, law enforcement and fire professionals, artists, travel and entertainment professionals, and food service employees, to recall a few. We have, indeed, celebrated the unity of our community. However, that same community owes its very existence, in no small part, to our service veterans and military personnel. Without their sacrifices, we would not enjoy community as we now know it, and we want to say thank you to them. We hope that everyone who has participated in the past as sponsors, vendors, volunteers, workers, dignitaries, and honorees will be involved again in 2010. Think of it as a homecoming!
